ROUTINE BLOOD TESTS are no longer taken here – Coventry Teaching Primary Care Trust has introduced changes to its blood test clinics that will reduce the amount of time people have to wait for an appointment.
“Beyond January 26th 2007 no more appointments are being made for community clinic based blood tests and the service will continue to be provided in the city centre at the phlebotomy clinic at Coventry and Warwickshire Hospital AND at the new University Hospital in Walsgrave.”
People needing a blood test will no longer have to make an appointment in advance, and can go on the day of their choice.
Fasting bloods and routine bloods for the elderly and infirm may still be available at the Forum Health Centre – please enquire
